Based in the Washington, DC area, Yalan T. Sesay is a talented Portrait and Event Photographer from Essex County, New Jersey. With a natural eye for composition developed from years of photographing his sister, Yalan turned his passion into a business after 2 years of formal photography training. Since September 2021, he has captured over 200+ events, including weddings, parties, business events, and portrait sessions.

I currently shoot with a Cannon EOS 90D DSLR Camera and 25mm to 70mm Sigma Zoom Lens.
When I first started shooting I used to use a Cannon 4000D with a 35mm Cannon prime lens.

When I am not shooting, you can find me performing throughout the DMV area as a professional Vocal Percussionist and Poet! I make noises with my mouth.

I used to work for a non-profit where I assisted young adults experiencing homelessness and other community members in finding workforce opportunities!
